PRIVACY & ANALYTICS
UNDERSTANDING WHAT WORKS.
WITHOUT CROSS-SITE TRACKING.
Polderburn uses its own first-party statistics to improve the game. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site profiles.
Who is responsible?
DK Solutions Holding B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 77200799, is responsible for the personal data processed for Polderburn. Send questions or privacy requests to [email protected].
What do we measure?
We measure site visits, game openings, Instant Play, selected stages, race starts and finishes. For each race, we store the active graphics settings, derived device information and a compact performance summary, such as browser family, operating system, display size, average FPS and render scale.
What do we not store?
No raw IP address, full user agent, full referring URL or browser fingerprint. A random browser identifier counts return visits. The visit cookie lasts no longer than one year; a visit expires after thirty minutes of inactivity.
Accounts and races
Successful logins, account registrations and races are recorded server-side. When you are logged in, these product events may be linked to your Polderburn account. Answers to the feedback questions on the site are linked to your trial or full profile so you can edit them later. Authorised administrators can view and export an account register containing gamertags, optional email addresses, activity and feedback for administration and analysis. Password data, session tokens and reset codes are never exposed in this admin screen.
Contact and support
When you submit the contact form, we use your name or gamertag, email address, selected subject, message and, where applicable, internal Polderburn profile ID only to answer your question and provide support. The message is sent directly to [email protected] through our Cloudflare email provider. The address entered in the form is not used as a trusted system sender, and this does not subscribe you to marketing email.
Payments and lifetime access
Payments are made on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Polderburn does not receive or store card or bank details. To assign a payment once and to the correct profile, we do store the Stripe Checkout and payment references, amount, currency, payment time, live/test status and any email address used at checkout. We also store which terms version you accepted and when you requested immediate access and acknowledged losing your withdrawal period. We send one transactional purchase confirmation to the checkout email address via Cloudflare. These contract and payment records are kept for as long as needed to perform the contract, meet statutory record-keeping obligations and handle potential legal claims.
Withdrawal and refunds
If you use the form to cancel a purchase, we store your name, email address, optional purchase reference and explanation, receipt time, handling status and confirmation email delivery status. This allows us to provide evidence of receiving and handling your notice. The form works without an account; if you are already logged in, the request may be linked to your profile ID.
What does “unique visitor” mean?
In the dashboard, this means a unique first-party browser, not necessarily a unique person. Someone using several browsers is counted more than once, and someone who clears storage may be counted again. No web measurement is therefore literally exact.
Opting out
You can disable anonymous browser analytics on this device. The random analytics identity and associated events will then be deleted. Account and race data needed for your profile, security and the leaderboard will remain.
